The Daily Challenge
One puzzle, one word, one shared experience. Play today's and keep your streak going.
- Fresh puzzle every day
- Play on web or iOS
- Four difficulty options
A daily logic puzzle for quiet minds. Take Sudoku's rules, swap the numbers for letters, and find the satisfaction in figuring it out.
Lexoku is a word-based logic puzzle: like Sudoku, but with letters. Learn it in sixty seconds.
Every puzzle begins with a real word, like BRAIN or APPLE. The letters of that word are your palette. Your job: fill the grid so every row and column contains the word's letters at the correct frequency.
5-letter words make 5×5 grids. 7-letter words make 7×7. Duplicate letters count: two P's in APPLE means two P's in every row. Longer words, bigger grids, harder puzzles.
Every puzzle has exactly one solution, reachable by deduction alone. No dead ends, no luck, no word knowledge required. If you can think it through, you can finish it.
A fresh daily puzzle on the web, 6,000+ levels in the iPhone app, or themed weekly packs. Pick your pace.

Why Play Lexoku
Lexoku combines the logic of Sudoku with the richness of language. Every letter has a place — including in your brain.
Every puzzle strengthens neural connections, improves mental speed, and exercises short-term memory — like a gym session for your brain.
The focused attention of solving a puzzle quiets racing thoughts and lowers stress — a mindful break that leaves you feeling calmer.
Completing a puzzle triggers dopamine — the same reward signal behind your best "aha!" moments. That satisfaction you feel? It's real chemistry.
Unlike pure number puzzles, Lexoku engages language and analytical thinking simultaneously — building vocabulary and pattern recognition in every grid.
Regular mental challenges build your brain's resilience — its ability to stay sharp and adapt as you age. A daily Lexoku is an investment in your future self.
Not all screen time is equal. Lexoku is intentional, focused, and finite — a calm alternative to endless scrolling.
A few minutes a day solving puzzles can make a meaningful impact on your brain health.
