Privacy Policy

The short version

We don't collect, store, or share personal data that identifies you. The Lexoku website uses no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking. The iOS app uses three third-party services — Apple's Game Center, Sentry (anonymous crash reports), and Google AdMob (free tier only) — each governed by its own privacy policy. That's it.

The website

The web version of Lexoku, including the daily puzzle, works without an account. We don't set cookies, we don't run analytics, and we don't embed trackers. No personal data leaves your browser.

The iOS app

The Lexoku iOS app does not create an account or collect personal data directly. It integrates with two third-party services you should know about:

Apple Game Center

Leaderboards in the iOS app are handled by Apple's Game Center. If you enable Game Center on your device, Apple may store your nickname and scores on its servers under Apple's privacy policy. We never receive or store this data ourselves.

Sentry (crash reports)

The iOS app uses Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and basic diagnostic events. When the app crashes or encounters an unexpected error, Sentry sends a report including the device model, OS version, app version, and the technical details of the crash. This data is not linked to your Apple ID, your name, or any account, and it is never used for advertising. We use it only to fix bugs and improve app stability.

Google AdMob (free tier only)

The free tier of the iOS app shows advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and limited usage data for ad personalization per Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time by going to iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking and disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track," or by disabling personalized ads in your device's advertising settings. Subscribing to Lexoku Pro or buying Lexoku Pro Lifetime removes ads entirely.

In-app purchases

Lexoku offers Lexoku Pro Monthly and Yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, and a Lexoku Pro Lifetime one-time purchase. All payments are processed by Apple — we never see your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs how it handles your purchase and subscription renewals.

Children

Lexoku is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If we ever update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and note what changed here. No tricks.
